Turkeys in Detroit for Thanksgiving.

Detroit Mercy and the Kalasho Empowerment of Young Scholars partnered to hand 500 turkeys to Detroit families ahead of Thanksgiving — the joy on the receiving side matched only by the joy on the giving side.

Detroit Mercy and Kalasho Empowerment of Young Scholars give turkeys to Detroit for Thanksgiving

The only people that matched the happiness of those receiving free turkeys for Thanksgiving on Thursday were the people handing them out. Five hundred turkeys were passed from Detroit Mercy and Kalasho Empowerment of Young Scholars to those in need and can't afford to buy one themselves.
